How VoiceMap Audio Tours Work

How to buy Belfast Lucie's audio tours, redeem your VoiceMap tour code and download your self-guided walk.

Belfast Lucie’s audio tours use the VoiceMap app. After buying a tour, download it in the app, go to the starting point, put in your headphones, and start walking.

VoiceMap uses GPS to play the right audio at the right location. You do not need to follow a guide, wait for a group, or keep to someone else’s schedule.

Buying on VoiceMap

Choose a tour from the Belfast audio tours collection and follow its VoiceMap link. After payment, sign in to the app with the same VoiceMap account you used to buy it. Your purchase will be available in that account for download.

Buying direct from Lucie

Choose your tour and pay securely with Stripe. After payment, we'll email your VoiceMap tour code and download instructions automatically.

Check your spam or junk folder as well as your inbox. A payment receipt is separate from the VoiceMap redemption code. If you cannot find your code, contact Lucie before buying the same tour again. We aim to respond within 24 hours.

Redeem your tour code

  1. Install VoiceMap from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open the app and sign in or create a VoiceMap account.
  3. Choose Tour Codes, then Enter Codes.
  4. Enter the code from your email and submit it. Codes are not case sensitive.
  5. Choose Download or Download Now, and confirm the download if prompted.
  6. Wait for the audio and route to finish downloading before going to the starting point.

You do not need to pay VoiceMap again when redeeming a valid tour code. Each single-use code unlocks one copy of the named tour.

Help with your order

Before Your Walk

  1. Choose a Belfast Lucie audio tour.
  2. Install the VoiceMap app on iPhone or Android.
  3. Download the tour before you start.
  4. Go to the starting point.
  5. Press start and follow the route.
  6. Pause whenever you want, then resume when ready.

Practical Tips

  • Download the tour before leaving your hotel or accommodation.
  • Bring headphones.
  • Charge your phone.
  • Allow extra time for photos, coffee, pubs or weather.
  • Follow normal street safety and local crossing rules.
